Inside the C5000 ST
Base on higher voltage platform than competitor's design, our C5000 ST circuit regulates the MT-G2 LED output until the very last drop of energy. Our highly efficient wide voltage buck current regulated circuit controls the precious amount of current that goes through the LED at all output levels. This results in constant brightness output regardless of LED variation, battery voltage, and temperature change. Our smart EMI management and quick soft-start design provide clean electricity to power the LED with enhanced service life.
We utilize low RDS(on) high power external mosfets, rugged & shielded power inductor, low ESR 50V X7R ceramic capacitors, and low resistance 2 oz copper PCB for maximum efficiency. This also lower required input voltage to current regulate the LED at maximum output when the battery voltage is near the LED forward voltage.
The microprocessor is programmed to provide handy and easy-to-use interface for users. When the flashlight is turned off, it shuts off all unnecessary components and waits for response to user command at very low standby current (uA).
Excellent runtime & efficiency
We use highly precise operating amplifier with very low offset voltage to control the output current. This allows MX25L3 Compact to run for x+ hours on its lowest brightness level and constant regulate all output levels without LED flicking.
At its highest brightness output, MX25L3 Compact runs for 1.6 hours using three EAGTAC 18650 3400mAh batteries with energy saving feature enabled. The circuit is also designed to handle six 3V primary CR123A batteries with the same great efficiency.

Energy saving technology
1) This feature prolongs turbo output runtime, by reducing output current by 25% after 200 seconds at turbo mode. With this feature disabled by user, it reduces output current by only 10% after 200 seconds at turbo mode for higher output.
2) ANSI FL-1 lumen is the total overall light output being emitted from the flashlight. This measurement is generally more accurate as it takes into consideration the loss from reflector/lens/bezel. EAGTAC ANSI FL-1 Lumen output is measured using a calibrated integrated sphere one minute after turning on the flashlight.

MX25L3-C is the first EAGTAC flashlight to feature the unique Nichia 219 D220 CRI-92 SW45 LED. This custom made Nichia LED is the world brightest high CRI LED you can get with neutral white color tint (4500K). Other regular high CRI LED has orangish warm color (3000K).

Cool White LED
The six CREE top binned XP-G2 S2 LED give you maximum output. The smaller emittor die in the XP-G2 S2 LED givves you longer beam distance.
Neutral White LED
If you need awesome beam output out in the woods, or areas with a lot of green vegetation, use our neutral white LED as it offers higher CRI (Color rendering index). Neutral white LED renders color like the sun in the afternoon. This gives you better color rendition and more accurate color relative to cool white LED.
The high CRI Nichia 219 D220 LED is so awesome that when you point the flashlight on a colored object, it almost does not alternate its original color and making it even more appealing. If lumen represents the quantity of light, CRI is definitely one of the most important aspect to define the quality.
CREE XP-G2 S2 LED
This S2 LED is the brightest XP-G2 LED available and it's very hard to come by. The new CREE SC3 technology platform allows the second generate XP-G LED is squeeze 15-20% more output compared to its predecessor. It pushes performance limits to redefine lumen levels and outstanding lumen/watt efficiency (over 184 lumen/watt at 300mA). Instead of using overlapping single piece reflectors, The MX25L3-C opts for costly six individual aluminum reflector for greater output efficiency, longer beam distance, and better beam shape.
