ANVL UKON V2 is a micro Trijicon RMR rifle mount that incorporates a single focal plane absolute co-witness backup iron sight package. These Red Dot Sight Accessories utilize a standard type AR-15 adjustable front sight post. It has the ability to adjust elevation. The user can adjust the elevation to be point of aim, point of impact for subsonic rounds while still running the red dot for supersonic and vice versa. It can be used as an absolute co-witness as well for a backup if the red dot fails. Because it is a single focal plane, and it is so close together for a sight picture, the irons actually act like a backup red dot. The ANVL mount is constructed from 6061 aluminum with a Class III hard coat.
Note the mounts in the white background photos are the EXACT mounts that are being sold. A single-sided bladed iron. The end-user can swap out the front sight post for any standard AR-15 sight post. They do not come with the Trijicon tritium sight post.
Disclaimer DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN SCREWS. Once they are hand-tight, a single quarter turn is adequate for tightness. Apply red Loctite to your screws before installing. Make sure the optic is run as far forward as you can on your weapon system. It was not designed to be run at the rear of a receiver because it will cause the irons to blur out on the user. The most beneficial position would be as forward as possible, similar to the position of a pistol in front of a user.
