Tiny compared to other spotting scopes the new Noblex NS 8-24 x 50 ED is the perfect companion for shooting, birding and hunting. Together with its stay-on-case and a weight of 530 gram (1.17 lbs) it fits in every backpack and even in the pockets of jackets and trousers. On the one side, the lowest magnification of 8x is on a level such as binoculars on the other side, the highest magnification of 24x reaches the performance of much bigger spotting scopes. The NS 8-24 x 50 ED features multi-coated optics, a rainproof housing, ED lenses, a dioptre adjustment of +/- 6 dpt and it is suitable for wearers of glasses. The close focus range is only 1.5 meters (1.64 yds), so spotting on closest distances is no problem at all. When a magnification of 24x is selected, the exit pupil diameter is still 2 millimeter. The Lens and eyepiece covers are removable, even if the NS 8 is equipped with the stay-on-case. Also, a tripod can be mounted on a standard sized thread on the bottom - recommended for greater magnification.
