The NV 5x60 has an extra-large 60mm objective for maximum light gathering and a larger field of view. A key component to the originality of the new NVMT is that it sheds the burden of a one-dimensional item and evolves into a multi-functional system allowing the scope to be used virtually anywhere. The NVMT is equipped with two 1/4 inch mounts thus it can be utilized for a head mount as well as a rifle scope. As an option, the NVMT can also be coupled with an exclusive rifle mount/laser system elevating the NVMT right to the top of the newest generation of compact night vision rifle scopes. It is also usable with standard cameras and video cameras so you can take pictures and videos at night (camera adapter sold separately)! The NVMT's newly developed lenses have improved wavelength / contrast characteristics which help in utilizing every bit of light amplification available to the night vision tube. This unique design allows the scope to produce a clear image with quality and high resolution. The NVMT is equipped with comfortable sensor control buttons coupled with an ergonomically designed body and innovative lens cover. Rugged rubber armor protects the NVMT from damaging moisture and other elements. The exclusive PLUS system provides the highest level of infrared illumination without significant power drain on the battery. The PLUS system allows the maximum possible output by the I.R. illuminator (75 mW, 805 nm), while letting the illuminator rest between pulses to protect the illuminator from burning out. The pulsing frequency is invisible to a human eye but it penetrates longer distances due the quick energy bursts of the IR. Compare interchangeable lenses, rifle mountable, variety or applications, high grade night vision tubes, I.R. illuminator, compact, lightweight, rubber armored, and padded corduroy carrying case.
