SOG Aura SEAL Knives AU03-N are the tactical-ready version of the popular Aura series of knives from SOG. Available starting in February of 2012, these knives take the SOG Aura concept and apply it to a high-strength tactical knife that nobody will want to mess with. The first difference you'll notice on these Bowie knife-inspired tactical knives is the blade itself. Built out of 54-56 HRC 7Cr13 stainless steel, the blade of this SOG knife is sharp enough to cut through most anything. The edge of the SEAL knife's blade is serrated near the handle, giving you sawing capability when you need to cut through ropes or wood. An intimidating Black TiNi finish completes the look of the SOG Aura SEAL Tactical Knife. But SOG Specialty Knives & Tools didn't stop the remodeling with the Aura SEAL's blade; the handle has plenty of good qualities as well. Over-molded rubber gives the glass-reinforced polymer of the handle an ergonomic, non-slip quality that's comfortable over long periods of use. What's more, you can sharpen your Aura's blade at any time by removing the carbide sharpener housed in the knife's handle.
