The main compartment has an inside pocket for use with the hydro bladder (not included). The pack has padded shoulder straps with an adjustable sternum strap, and a two inch wide waist belt with quick release buckle, which stores within the built in pouch. There are MOLLE webbing straps on the main outer panel and sides. Two straps and clips on each side are used for compression, or attaching to the ILBE main pack. Assault pack does come with back stiffener.Buckles are coyote brown.
