The UM8-2 is an extremely compact and lightweight monocular originally designed for use by Soviet intelligence services. Its compact nature allows it to fit easily in the palm of your hand. Don't let its small size fool you though as it punches way above its weight class. It features 7.6x magnification to bring distance objects in for a closer look. More importantly it features a high quality optical system which provides very good resolution and accurate color rendition. A quick turn of the objective lens focuses the image for a clear, crisp view from 5 meters to infinity. It's just 4 inches long, and weighs only 5.3 ounces allowing it to be easily tucked into a pocket until needed.
