The Model 3285 is a tactical holster designed to fit the Beretta M9 or 92F pistol with or without a light or LAM unit. Since there is no snap, the forward rotating hood allows for a smooth single-motion draw and greater protection against attempted weapon takeaways. It is also far less likely to release accidentally than conventional thumb break snaps.

The 3285 is ambidextrous; utilizing the simple rotating hood design that can be changed from right to left, and works with the Safariland MOLLE Locking System (MLS).

The 3285 features a molded sight track and SafariSuede lining to protect the guns' sights and finish. Its wraparound construction provides the strongest design combination available. The 3285's SafariLaminate structure makes these features possible. The 3285 lowers the holster body and handgun grip by 1.5" (38mm).
