An assortment of Teflon® resin-coated, metric polygon stir bars contained in PTFE with center molded pivot rings. The molded pivot ring minimizes the contact area between the bar and the vessel, reducing friction and chattering. Damage to plastic containers is also diminished. Multifaceted surface adds turbulence relative to similar size smooth cylindrical stirring bars.
