Wide-range thermometer reads °C or °F. Minimum and maximum readings may be recalled. Unit features red backlighting of the display so that answers may be read in poor lighting or darkness. LCD display measures 1.3cm (1/2"). Membrane keypad provides a splashproof design.

All Type-K probes may be used with liquids, air/gas, and semi-solids. Stainless steel probe with handle has a 15.9cm (61/4") stem with a 3.3mm (1/8") diameter fitted to an 8.9cm (31/2") handle. Beaded probe is 1.5mm (1/16") in diameter and features a 1.2m (4') fluoropolymer resin cable. The low-temperature stainless steel probe has a diameter of 4.3mm (3/16") and features a 30.5cm (12") stem with a 12.7cm (5") handle. Low-temperature probe is supplied with a 2.4m (8') expandable cable. High-temperature beaded probe is a 3m (10') braided metal wire cable with a smooth tip and a diameter of 5mm (3/16").

A serial numbered certificate is provided from an ISO 17025 calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA to indicate thermometer traceability to standards provided by the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
