VWR Advanced Dry Block Heaters are perfect for applications that require temperature stability and repeatable results. Immunoassays, enzyme reactions, culture activation, melting and boiling points, are just a few of the applications for which these block heaters can be used. The LED displays show actual and set point Temperatures. Temperature settings are in 0.1C increments. Stability of +/- 0.1C or +/- 0.2C for 230V models is provided with a PID microprocessor. The temperature calibration mode facilitates external calibration. The timer can be programmed to shut off after a specific time or can be used to show elapsed time. The heating blocks or the sample temperature can be monitored using the optional PT100 RTD temperature probe kit.

Blocks available(not included) are designed for vials, microplates, PCR strips, and a wide variety of tubes. A sand bath is also available.

Calibrated models include an ISO/IEC Accredited Calibration Certificate traceable to NIST from Troemner. Troemner is accredited by NVLAP under Laboratory Code 105013-0 to perform ISO/IEC 17025 calibrations.
