The Vixen ED80Sf 80mm (3.2 inch) ED Apochromatic Telescope with SkyPod Mount, GOTO computer 25003 is a great Telescopes for the starting astronomer with its portability and automatic GOTO capabilities. The ED80 Sf 80mm Apochromatic (APO) Telescope by Vixen features an ED (extra-low dispersion glass) lens that delivers high quality images and contrast. The Vixen ED 80Sf ED Telescope is optically close to similar Telescopes that sell for 4 times as much. Another feature of the Vixen ED-80Sf APO Telescope is the included SkyPod Mount. This Sky-Pod mount has a unique portable alt-azimuth computer controlled "Go To" Mount that evolved from the very successful Vixen Sphinx mount. The Sky Pod incorporates a compact computer controlled Alt-Az system that automatically slews the telescope from one object to another. The 22,000 plus object database provides an endless variety of objects to view and is upgradable.
