Vixen R150SS Telescope 150mm with Vixen Sphinx Mount 2741 yields the ideal surface for its f/5 primary mirror. The visual observer will enjoy wide views of deep sky objects. Actual groups of nebula or clusters can be viewed at the same time with this telescope optical tube.This little brother of the Vixen R200SS Telescope, is a big Telescopes and features a sliding focuser. The SPHINX equatorial mount and Vixen STARBOOK controller have been intelligently engineered for high-speed automatic location of celestial objects. It is now possible to explore the beauty of the night sky with greater ease and stability Vixen Telescope. The Vixen Sphinx SXW Mount 2502 comes standard with built in motors and the world's first star chart go-to controller, STARBOOK both by Vixen, with a large full color LCD display. The Sphinx mount 's design is exceptional and the exterior styling is equally attractive. The STAR BOOK features a display on the large color screen and are navigated with simple buttons on the controller. The telescope controller is easy to use and makes the Sphinx 2502 available to a wide range of ages and experience levels. The Star book incorporates a large astronomical database with 22,725 celestial objects. A LAN Port within the controller allows for computer control and network connectivity. The Star Book is also compatible with an auto guider (including SBIG ST). The auto-guider port comes standard on all controllers.
