US Night Vision Backlight Reduction Filters 000716 are a great way to make sure your night vision doesn't impede your success. The US Night Vision Reduction Backlit Filters eliminate the symptoms of night vision blindness and/or significantly reduce eye fatigue when wearing (and/or removing) Night Vision Devices (NVD) in total darkness. The US Night Vision Backlight Reduction Filter for the USNV-AN/PVS-14 Night Vision Monocular is a snap-fit rubber eyecup that fits over the optic's eyepiece.

Features of US Night Vision PVS14A Night Vision Monocular:

  • Minimizes the "green light splash" making the user's face 75% less visible in the field
  • Regulates wavelengths of light to minimize the visual sensations of blindness and overwhelming brightness caused by "green screens"
  • Easily retro-fitted, requiring no tools or system modifications
  • Blocks ultraviolet light (UVA, UVB and UVC) by incorporating "invisible spectral blocks" that stop this potentially harmful radiation from reaching the eyes
  • Regulating certain wavelengths of light improves visual acuity (scene sharpness) and reduces eyestrain
  • Receives a rugged and optically pure anti-scratch coating
