The Unico PowerSpin BX Centrifuge is a state of the art variable-speed centrifuge with three rotor options: blood/urine microhematocrit/capillary tube, microcentrifuge tube. Your Unico BX Centrifuge can be a dedicated centrifuge with any one of the rotors or a versatile addition to your lab with up to three interchangeable rotors with speeds ranging from 1,000-13,000PRM. There are advanced safety features such as a Zero RPM lid latch control system, (which makes sure the lid cannot be opened if the rotor is spinning), a stainless steel rotor chamber, Auto-unbalance detection and shut-down (will shut-down the motor if an off-balance condition is detected). With three interchangeable rotors, the centrifuge features ARD (Automatic Rotor Detection), the unit can automatically tell which of the three rotors are loaded. This is an important safety feature as each of the three rotors has a different maximum speed. The microhematocrit rotor features a tube reader built into the rotor lid. This makes reading crit values quick and easy after your run, without having to remove the tubes and place them in a reader, or on a reader-card etc. The Unico Power Spin BX Centrifuge is the perfect addition to your lab.
