Ovis socks are made in a merino wool blend from Schoeller. The wool is specially treated with so-called "Superwash", which makes the wool extra soft, strengthens the natural antibacterial function and the ability to remove bad smells.
There is no material that handles heat, drying and transport of moisture as efficiently as merino wool. That it also inhibits bad smells and warms even if you get wet, it is a bonus. You also do not have to worry about it itching - Merino wool is extremely light to be wool.
