The SMC Blast Shield redirects muzzle blast forward and upward away from the shooters face. For attaching even more variety of accessories, this Blast Shield adds more Picatinny rail length to allow the use of the SMC P320 Spare Magazine Holder and a full size weapon light. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum gives this metal good thermal conductivity and dissipates heat quicker than steel.
