Steiner ARDs (Anti Reflective Device) for Steiner x30 and x50 Military Binoculars are crucial for maintaining concealment. Anti reflective shielding is vitally important during covert operations. Glint or a momentary reflection off your military binoculars will instantly give away your position. Glint can happen on overcast days also, so play it safe and attach these binocular accessories to your Steiner Military binocular. The Steiner A.R.D. attaches to the outside of objective lens barrel over the armoring by adjustable tension fit with a hex key (included). The Steiner ARDs fit Steiner Military type Porro-prism bodied x30mm and x50mm objective sized binoculars. The Steiner Anti Reflection features reduction of glare and glint up to 100%, using a new honeycomb pattern that reduces light transmission to your eyes by only 15-20%. The Steiner ARDs are constructed using non-corrosive parts and utilize the same ultra-durable Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR) armor that is used on Steiner's military binocular line. Each set of these Steiner binocular accessories is molded in OD military green and incorporates a protective dust cover.
Caution: Do not attempt to mount Steiner ARDs on other binoculars than Steiner 30mm and 50mm Porro Prism Military R or Steiner Military / Marine binoculars. Not for use with Steiner 10x50 LRF Military rangefinder.
