Our Ruger PC Carbine Buttstock Magazine Pouch (BMP) holds 2 spare SR Series or Glock 17/19 standard capacity pistol magazines on the offside of the buttstock. Secure, but readily accessible, this gives the shooter spare magazines that are always with the weapon.
Unlike the remainder of our Buttstock Magazine Pouches, this item IS NOT ambidextrous or modular. It is a dedicated right or left handed shooter product.
This Buttstock magazine pouch is designed to be used with or without a Specter Gear Sling. However, due to design requirements, 1" wide Mil-W-43668 webbing is used for the pouches stirrup harness rather the 1 1/4" sling webbing used for our other BMP's. While this is actually a significant design improvement resulting in a more solid pouch mount and eliminating the need for a front strap, it does present one small issue; The sling attachment loop is now 1" wide, rather than 1 1/4". This is not an issue when attaching a 1 1/2" wide sling such as the SOP, Raider or Recon slings, (because they use 1" wide attachment straps), it will require using the included 1 1/4" to 1" adapter to attach a 1 1/4" wide sling such as the CQB, CST or Raptor sling. Fortunately this is an easily accomplished task and the adapter is included with your BMP.
As with our other products, our BMPs use the highest quality materials and are stitched on heavy duty industrial machines using mil-spec #69 nylon thread. Realizing the needs of our end users, we ensure strict quality control standards and have over engineered these products to deliver long term performance under harsh conditions.
As with all Specter Gear products, our BMPs are proudly made in specialized factories!
