An Oscar Mike Hero is an injured Veteran who is conquering their disability and inspiring others. We choose to call these individuals "Heroes" because they won't ever call themselves one. Each Hero helps design their shirt and their personal story is printed on the inside.

ABOUT THIS HERO

From 2006 to 2010 Nick Koulchar served in the 1st armored division of the US Army. While stationed in Iraq, he was hit by a roadside bomb resulting in the loss of his legs. While recovering at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, his brother Mike never left his side, giving him the motivation to adapt and hit the reset button on life.

Nick focused on his transition and took up adaptive hand cycling, cross fit & obstacle races as a double amputee. He even switched careers to allow more time for adaptive sports and focus on his goal of joining the US Hand Cycling team. Nick shows that true strength comes from ones ability to ADAPT.

• Slightly tapered to be less boxy than the mass-market tee. Nothing drastic but you might want to go one size larger if you're on the fence.
• All the best of cotton and poly meet in this pulled-together ringspun, 30/1 knit. If you don't speak t-shirt geek, that means they are soft and smooth with a high thread count.
