These night vision accessories allow you to focus or expand the infrared beam from your illuminator, greatly increasing either the radius of your illuminator's beam or the distance it travels. The integrated IR illuminator in the MiNi14 and PVS7 night vision sights emits a 40° wide beam that can travel roughly 50 feet before diminishing. But with the NightOptics IR Spot and Flood Lens, you can narrow the beam to half its original size, hence tripling its illumination range. The Night Optics night vision accessory fits over your existing illuminator and is adjusted simply by twisting the lens. Night Optics has also made these lenses easy to attach and detach, and their small size makes for easy storage.
