The Meade Series 4000 Plossl 9mm Illuminated Reticle Eyepiece - 1.25", Wireless 07068 has been designed to be a special purpose eyepiece for guiding during long exposure astrophotography. The Meade Plossl Series 4000 Eyepiece w/ Illuminated Reticle features high quality 4-Element, fully-coated Plossl optics and a fully illuminated double-crosshair, with two concentric targeting circles. The Meade 9mm Plossl Illuminated Telescope Eyepiece includes precision micrometric adjustable x-y position controls to ease guide star targeting. The Meade 4000 9mm Plossl Telescope Eye Piece also features night vision preserving red LED illumination controlled by a variable brightness dial and on/off switch, powered by small watch type internal batteries (included). The Meade Plossl 9mm Illuminated Reticle Eyepiece comes complete with a rubber eyeguard for comfort and blocking distracting stray light.
