The Meade MAX Wedge Equatorial Mount converts a Meade 16" LX600 from alt-azimuth to equatorial mounting, allowing long exposure astrophotography and imaging. The Meade MAX-Wedge is an extremely heavy duty wedge that allows for secure and stable mounting with exceptional vibration damping. The Meade MAX Wedge Telescope Mount is precision CNC machined, with ultra-rigid aircraft grade aluminum. The mount is designed with smooth, accurate altitude and azimuth adjustments, and sets a new standard for equatorial stability. This equatorial astrophotography mount Allows uninterrupted tracking from horizon to horizon through the meridian.

The Meade MAX Wedge is designed for use with the Meade MAX tripod as supplied with the 16" LX600. The MAX Wedge can also be pier mounted (hardware not included). Meade 07029 MAX Wedge includes a full one year Meade limited factory warranty.
