Product Category Description:

Single-zone tube furnaces incorporate split-hinge design for easy process tube installation, fast cooling, and overall ease of operation. Structural framework allows furnace to be mounted and used horizontally or vertically without modification. With interchangeable tube adapters, furnaces accept different size process tubes. Equipped with electric heating modules which are composed of a light gauge overbend (LGO*) heating element and Moldatherm* ceramic fiber insulation. These improve the furnace’s radial and end-to-end uniformity, heat-up rates, and element-to-work chamber heat transfer. Maximum temperature: 1200°C. Ordering Information: Each furnace includes Platinel* II thermocouple and one set of two tube adapters: 2.5cm (1") dia. size with 30764-015; 5.1cm (2") dia. size with 30764-026 and 52346-246; and 6.4cm (21/2") dia. size with 30764-037. Furnaces are supplied without controller and interconnecting power wiring. Optional stand for vertical mounting is available; contact your VWR sales representative. Process tubes not included. Optional RS-485 data connection port is available on all models; contact your VWR sales representative.
