The intention of the Leatherwood M73 Sniper Rifle Scope was to bring to the Vintage Sniper Rifle competition shooter a top quality scope that surpasses the quality of the WWII originals used on the M1903A4 sniper rifles. Externally, this Leatherwood Rifle Scope is the spitting image of the original. Internally, the Leatherwood Malcolm M73G4 Small Steel Tube Sniper Rifle Scope is far superior - and due to the vast improvements Leatherwood/Hi-Lux Optics has made, the Wm. Malcolm version is being referred to as the M73G4. Those improvements include a modern erector tube and quality multi-coated lenses for superior light transmission. The scope offers more windage and elevation adjustment than the original. The Leatherwood Wm. Malcolm M73G4 Rifle Scope offers a total of minimum 50 MOA and with either windage or elevation at the center position. The Leatherwood 2.5x16mm M73 Sniper Scope Rifle Scope has an external windage adjustment built in the mount to zero the scope and keep the internal scope windage adjustment in the optical and physical center. This will maximize the elevation adjustment.
