JMI Encoder to Encoder Cable Pigtail Inline to RJ11 is a short adapter cable to connect an Encoder to an Encoder Cable. The inline connector slides onto the protruding electrical contacts on the encoder and the RJ-11 connector accepts the standard modular plug on the encoder cable. This allows the encoder cable to be easily disconnected just like you would disconnect a telephone cable from the wall jack.
A pig tail cable is attached to an encoder in this picture. An encoder cable plugs into the other end of the pigtail.
