The Thorntail X 1913 Offset Light Mount provides optimal weapon light positioning in a minimalist footprint. The low profile design replaces the stock Picatinny (1913) rail adapter positioning the light closer to the rail while maintaining clearance for thumb-over-bore light activation. The 1913 Offset Light Mount enables light placement in four positions around the rail (1:30, 4:30, 7:30, or 10:30 clock positions). Built for strength, Thorntail X mounts are machined from 7075-T6 Aluminum and MIL-A-8625 Type III hard coat anodized resulting in a mount that exhibits nearly twice the tensile strength of competing light mounts using industry standard 6061-T6 Aluminum.
