The Galileo FS-80Z optical tube assembly features an 800mm focal length. The primary mirror is 80mm's in diameter and features a heavy duty mirror cell with push / pull collimation screws. The Galileo FS-80Z is mounted on an altitude azimuth yoke mount. It's easy use up and down, left and right movement is great for beginners and casual star gazers alike. The Mount features a slow motion altitude adjustment rod for precision adjustments and is attached to a very sturdy, fully adjustable, pre-assembled metal tripod with retractable rubber feet. The tripod also features an accessory tray with slots to place 4 1 eyepieces or lenses. The finder is Galileo's Mars-Eye Electronic Finder which helps by getting the observer behind the telescope without losing the surrounding field of view when targeting objects. Included with the FS-80Z are a 16mm eyepiece, 120mm eyepiece and a 2 element 3x Astroscopic Barlow that triples the focal length of a telescope resulting in three times the magnification using your existing eyepieces.

In addition the FS-80Z includes two bonus lenses; a 16.8mm - 16mm Bonus Zoom Eyepiece that gives you the capability of a dozen different eyepieces without having to switch them out every time you want to change the power of your telescope, and a 1.5x Erecting eyepiece that transforms the image right-side-up for terrestrial use.
