The EGW red dot sight mount adapter plates for the HK VP9 Optics Ready Models are meant to be installed in the factory slide cut. Simply remove the plate cover and replace it with our mount in order to mount your Vortex Viper, Vortex Venom, Burris FastFire, or Docter red dot sight to your HK VP9 Optics Ready, HK VP9L Optics Ready, HK VP9 Tactical Optics Ready or any other HK VP9 Optics Ready Models. You can take our mount off and replace your rear sight at any time. Mounting hardware included.

Installation Instructions

- Remove the rear cover plate

- Install the EGW sight mount and torque the mounting plate screws

- Place the red dot sight on the EGW Sight Mount

(placing a small piece of paper between the red dot sight and the sight mount will make for easier removal and will keep Loctite off of the red dot sight.)

- Apply blue Loctite to the provided mounting screws

- Torque red dot mounting screws to 15in/lbs

2 Button Head Cap Screws - Provided for Vortex Viper and Venom Sights

2 Flat Head Cap Screws - Provided for Burris FastFire and Docter Sights

The screws that are included with this mount require a 5/64'' allen wrench for installation.

Modification of your firearm may nullify the manufacturer's warranty.

The screws that come with your slide to mount the plate to the slide may be reused. They are also available for purchase from the drop down above. HK recommends replacing the plate mounting screws after 2,000 rounds. HK recommends torquing the screws for the plate to 2Nm or 17.7 in/lbs.

The screws to mount the red dot to the plate are provided at no extra cost. We recommend using 15 in/lbs.
