The Tactical Application Tourniquet (T.A.T.) has a quick and easy one-hand application for stopping blood flow in both arms and legs. The tourniquet is lightweight, rugged, and affordable. The T.A.T.'s windlass rod strength and improved grip can be used in all weather conditions. The No Velcro design is critical since Velcro does not work well when it comes in contact with water, blood, dirt, etc. The T.A.T. also has a safety set screw, which prevents accidental release of the tourniquet after application and dual locking rings. There is also a highly visible tab where the rescuer can write the time of application. T.A.T. comes in tactical black and its length is approximately 37". It weighs 5oz.
