The Askins Avenger has become a mainstay as a classic 1911 holster. The holsters namesake, Colonel Charles Askins, was a competitive shooter and gunfighter of old and his exploits as a member of the US Army, and US Border Patrol are legendary. The Askins Avenger holster is constructed from the finest quality veg-tanned leather with a Kangaroo body and Elephant trim, for a striking appearance. Hand boned for the perfect fit with burnished and completely finished edges. The major design features of the Avenger are the belt tunnel on the main body with a trailing belt slot to keep the butt tucked in tight. It is an almost vertical carry making for fast presentation and ease of carry.
