Inside the C5000 ST
Base on higher voltage platform than competitor's design, our C5000 ST circuit regulates the MT-G2 LED output until the very last drop of energy. Our highly efficient wide voltage buck current regulated circuit controls the precious amount of current that goes through the LED at all output levels. This results in constant brightness output regardless of LED variation, battery voltage, and temperature change. Our smart EMI management and quick soft-start design provide clean electricity to power the LED with enhanced service life.
We utilize low RDS(on) high power external mosfets, rugged & shielded power inductor, low ESR 50V X7R ceramic capacitors, and low resistance 2 oz copper PCB for maximum efficiency. This also lower required input voltage to current regulate the LED at maximum output when the battery voltage is near the LED forward voltage.
The microprocessor is programmed to provide handy and easy-to-use interface for users. When the flashlight is turned off, it shuts off all unnecessary components and waits for response to user command at very low standby current (uA).
Excellent runtime & efficiency
We use highly precise operating amplifier with very low offset voltage to control the output current. This allows MX25L3 to run for 350+ hours on its lowest brightness level and constant regulate all output levels without LED flicking.
At its highest brightness output, MX25L3 runs for 2.7 hours (XM-L2) / 1.5 hour (MT-G2) using three EAGTAC 18650 3400mAh batteries with energy saving feature enabled. The circuit is also designed to handle six 3V primary CR123A batteries with the same great efficiency.

Energy saving technology
1) This feature prolongs turbo output runtime, by reducing output current by 25% after 200 seconds at turbo mode. With this feature disabled by user, it reduces output current by only 10% after 200 seconds at turbo mode for higher output.
2) ANSI FL-1 lumen is the total overall light output being emitted from the flashlight. This measurement is generally more accurate as it takes into consideration the loss from reflector/lens/bezel. EAGTAC ANSI FL-1 Lumen output is measured using a calibrated integrated sphere one minute after turning on the flashlight.

Cool White LED
This gives you the maximum brightness output in its class and maximum beam distance. The CREE MT-G2 P0 5000K LED can be either called cool white or neutral white as such color temperature is right at the border of the transition between two color tint.
Neutral White LED
If you need awesome beam output out in the woods, or areas with a lot of green vegetation, use our neutral white LED as it offers higher CRI (Color rendering index). Neutral white LED renders color like the sun in the afternoon. Neutral white LED is approximately 7% dimmer than our top binned cool white LED, but it's well worth the ability to see the real color of your surrounding.This gives you better color rendition and more accurate color relative to cool white LED.
CREE MT-G2 P0 LED
This is the first EasyWhite LED array built on the newest CREE SC3 technology platform. It pushes performance limits to redefine lumen levels and outstanding lumen/watt efficiency (over 107 lumen/watt at 18.5W). Its smooth beam profile features a huge and bright hot spot, suitable for lighting up a large area at close-up or mid-range.
CREE XM-L2 U2 LED
The XM-L2 LED is also built on the newest CREE SC3 technology platform. Its signle emittor die structure allows higher current per inch square compared to the MT-G2 array. XM-L2 U2 offers maximum projecting distance due to the more concentrated light source.
