The streamlined outside-the-waistband (OWB) Hot Rod Vertical Holster was built from the Alpha Holster chassis and then stripped down for a reduced Kydex footprint. With its extremely minimal presence and maximum comfort, the Hot Rod is like the summer version of other larger pancake-style holsters. The vertical non-canted grip angle was added as an option based on customer feedback and is compatible for IDPA competition use. Added benefit - the Hot Rod Holster is perfect for running handguns with threaded barrels. Assembled and finished with the attention to detail and quality construction you can always expect from DSG brand gear.
Features: Adjustable retention on all holster models. Refined and finished edges for a comfortable, close-to-the-body fit. Durable Kydex 100 construction with PI scratch-resistant texture and higher heat tolerance. Engineered sight channel for night sights and most suppressor sights. Injection molded 1.75-inch belt loops on all HR models. Designed to accommodate threaded barrels. This vertical/non-canted holster model accommodates Glock MOS version slides and most modern red dot optics.
