The Cassini C1202 Telescope w/ 1100mm x 102mm Catadioptric Optical Tube Assembly C-1202 has been designed to be the ideal way to view the stars. This Telescope from Cassini is made with a Super Glide mount that features slow motion controls in both axis for precision adjustments. The Mount is attached to a very sturdy, fully adjustable, pre-assembled metal tripod with retractable rubber feet. The high quality Tripod that is included with the Cassini C-1202 Telescope features an accessory tray with slots to place 4 1.25" eyepieces or lenses. The optical tube assembly attaches to the mount by an adjustable tube clamp which in combination with the adjustable counter balance weights ensures easy fluid movement of the telescope at all times. The optical tube assembly of this Cassini Telescope features a catadioptric design providing an 1100mm focal length (catadioptric correcting lens is fully multi-coated). The Primary Mirror on the Cassini C1202 Telescope is a 102mm heavy duty mirror cell with push / pull collimation screws.
