Stomacher sample bags are designed with the resiliency necessary to withstand the paddle action of the Stomacher lab blenders. Sterile, polyethylene bags are 65µm (2.5mil) thick per layer. Standard bags, suitable for most applications, can be used with all laboratory blenders. Strainer bags, for processing gritty samples that could cause pipette blockage, and closure bags, for sample storage or to prevent sample loss, are available for use with Seward Stomacher Model 400C only.

For optimal results, use circulator bags (round-bottom style) with Seward Stomacher Model 400C and classic bags (square-bottom style) with other paddle blender models.
