The drop-point blade with high-set Saber grind is made of 80CrV2 stainless steel, which combines robustness, edge retention and shock resilience in an uncompromising way. Cutting, carving and even chopping form the unmistakable comfort zone of the outdoor knife. The zest for action is underlined by the blade's gritty black stonewash finish, which gives the fixed blade knife an unmistakable used look. For maximum stability, the tang is full length and protrudes a few millimetres from the end of the handle, so that it can easily withstand even powerful blows with round timber. A short section of the back of the blade forms sharp 90-degree edges on both sides for striking sparks with an optionally available fire starter. Thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) was chosen as the handle material, which completely encloses the tang and has a grippy texture. TPE is resistant, elastic, non-slip and has low heat conductivity.
