Certified as both a Dynamic rope and a Static rope = Dynastat! It is first a low stretch static rope (2% stretch in use) but in the event of a fall an internal Vectran 'fuse' will rupture and the rope then becomes dynamic to absorb the fall energy. The Vectran fuse will rupture under a force of around 3kN. In addition, Dynastat resists a fall factor 1 drop holding 100kg over a sharp edge of .75mm radius. Ideal for delicate operations at height, pylon climbing, clock towers, rescue and fast technical intervention.
