Macro-Vue* RPR Circle Card Test Kits, BD Diagnostics

These rapid plasma reagin (RPR) test kits are developed for use in large-scale testing in public health and clinical laboratories. Kits use mechanical rotation, antigen suspension, and specially prepared, plastic-coated test cards for the serologic detection of syphilis. The recommended speed for rotation is 100rpm. The rotator should circumscribe a circle approximately 2cm in diameter in the horizontal plane. Refrigeration is recommended for storing the antigen suspension ampules. The disposable Dispenstirs* devices allow the transfer of specimen to the card surface. An antigen dispensing bottle with a needle serves for accurate drop delivery of antigen. Spot cards feature circle spots 18mm in diameter.
