Reagents are hermetically sealed in an ampule to protect from chemical instability. To use the reagents, simply hold the dropper upright and squeeze to crush the ampule inside. Then tilt the dropper for convenient, drop-by-drop dispensing. Each ampule contains a 1-day supply of premixed reagent. The droppers have a flat bottom to allow them to be stand upright on the benchtop while working. Ampules have a shelf life of one to three years.
