Starting with the blade, it's available in CPM MagnaCut or ELMAX both premium steels that are tough, stain resistant, and hold an edge for a very long time. The handle on the A100 is fiberglass-reinforced nylon-a super plastic that's lighter than G-10 and incredibly strong. Compared with the A200, the textured portion of the scales and the flat portion are reversed, and instead of having two barrel spacers, it has one long spacer that matches the lock and thumb stud.
