The MICH is a NIJ Level IIIA ballistic helmet built on the proven ACH / MICH mid-cut platform used by military and law enforcement for decades. Multiple layers of aramid - the same fiber family used in our NIJ IIIA vests - stop 9mm, .357 SIG and .44 Magnum. Dual side accessory rails and an NVG shroud mount night vision, cameras, lights, ear-pro and counterweights, and an adjustable internal suspension with padded liner dials in a secure, all-day fit across sizes M-XL.
