Lasermax Laser Sights for Government 1911 (5" barrel) Gun is the world's only totally internal laser sight. Laser  Max sight aligns with barrel for maximum accuracy, fingertip activation on take-down lever. Ambidextrous switch is built into our customized take-downlevers - simply press to turn the laser on or off. LaserMax lasers replaces guide system - completely internal, nothing external.
Please note: There are many manufacturers of the M1911 model handgun, also known as the 1911 Government or the 1911-A1. The LaserMax fits all models true to the original handgun design. Barrels shorter than 5" or changes in receiver design may render the handgun incompatible with the LaserMax. (Does NOT fit polymer frames.)
