Giottos Series II Dual Thread Tripod Ballhead MH3300-550C is a sturdy and reliable addition to any photographic tripod, freeing your camera up for a full, fluid range of motion that you're in complete control of. These effective tripod accessories use a hollow ball and a calibrated base to generate smooth, reliable motion whenever you're panning, tilting, or zooming with your digital camera. A tension control knob makes it easy to adjust the rate at which the Giottos Series II Ball Head moves in its socket, and you can lock either the Giottos tripod accessory's panning mechanism or its socket ball in place with a twist of the independent ball and pan locking knobs located on either side of the tripod ballhead. Giottos has outfitted the camera plate of the Series II ballhead with dual threads, one 1/4" and one 3/8", allowing you to mount virtually any digital camera or camcorder to your Giottos tripod. For a smooth-panning, easy locking ball-head for your tripod, mount the Giottos Series II Double Thread Ball-Head.
